✨ I took a year off Instagram and it was truly life-changing! Here are 8 lessons I learned:

1️⃣ I have more time than I realized—started Pilates, became a certified Christian life coach, and even experimented with color in my hair!
2️⃣ I became a better friend offline—no more superficial connections.
3️⃣ Less scrolling = less procrastination—finally created that prayer closet and tackled the 40-day prayer challenge.
4️⃣ I rediscovered who I truly am—opened my Bible for the first time and prayed + fasted like my life depended on it.
5️⃣ True friends will always reach out—grateful for those who stayed connected.
6️⃣ I’m genuinely happier without the constant comparison—first TPC experience, anyone?
7️⃣ Being present is a game-changer—Dallas for the Desperate for Jesus conference and @withtheperrys podcast tour in Orlando were so worth it!
8️⃣ Breaks are a must to reset and refocus—working on some exciting new projects... any guesses?

Stepping away was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Now, I’m back with a healthier, more balanced approach. Real life > curated life! 🌸

✨ I took a year off Instagram, and let me tell you—it was life-changing! ✨

In July 2023, I decided to step away from the scroll and fully unplug. For six years, I lived life showing up online daily, curating every moment, and chasing validation through likes and follows. But it was draining me. I realized I was missing out on the real moments with my family, and social media had become more of a distraction than a blessing.

Over the past year, I reclaimed my time and rediscovered who I am outside of the algorithm. This time away brought me closer to God, allowed me to reconnect with my purpose, and gave me the clarity I needed to live with more intention.

Here are eight powerful lessons I learned from taking a year off:

1️⃣ I do have more time than I realized.
2️⃣ I became a better friend—offline and in real life.
3️⃣ Without the constant scroll, I procrastinated less.
4️⃣ I rediscovered who I am, and it feels amazing!
5️⃣ True friends will always make the effort.
6️⃣ My happiness isn’t found on a screen.
7️⃣ Being present is the ultimate gift to myself and my family.
8️⃣ Breaks are essential to reset, refocus, and reconnect with what matters.

Now that I’m back, I’m showing up with a fresh perspective. No more chasing perfection—just sharing my journey as I continue to grow in Christ and live out my purpose. Real life > curated life. 🙌🏾

I was ready to walk away from showing up online. But God had other plans. He said, “No, Sis. You were called to be more. If you give up on the platform I gave you and stop using your voice, the enemy wins. In July 2023, I felt a divine call to rededicate my life to God and leave the world’s ways behind. On August 6, 2023, I was re-baptized—a public declaration of my surrender to Jesus. Since then, I’ve let go of my old self and embraced His love, grace, and restoration.

God revealed my true identity as a Daughter of the King after years of seeking validation from the wrong places. Now, I’m back to be an example of faith, love, and purity. 🙌🏾

I’m on a mission to help Christian millennial moms, like you, embrace a soft life in Christ by growing spiritually, living purposefully, and thriving in every season. Honestly, when God showed me His plan for my life, I felt completely unqualified. I hadn’t been to Bible school, barely opened my Bible, and my prayer life was virtually nonexistent. But let me testify: in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.

God used my season of isolation to shape me into the woman He intended me to be. I pray my story inspires you to begin your own transformation. Sis, are you ready? Because you too were called to be more! 💕

Knock, knock. I’m back 👋🏾

A year ago, I stepped away from social media during the darkest season of my life. I felt lost and defeated, but God met me there. What the enemy meant for evil, God turned for good.

I used to seek validation from the world, but God showed me it was all a facade. Dusting off my Bible, I rediscovered my identity in Christ. Months later, I got re-baptized and found my purpose.

Now, I’m here to share my testimony and help other women find true freedom in Jesus. My content will be authentic, inspired by God. If you choose to unfollow, I trust God’s design.

Reflecting on my journey, I am grateful for the profound transformation God has worked in my life. If He did it for me, He can do it for you too. True freedom and purpose are found in Jesus, not in the world’s validation.

I invite you to join me as I share my testimony and cultivate a community of women grounded in Christ. Together, we can discover our God-given purposes and live out our faith authentically.

Hi guys 👋🏾

I've had quite a few people message me asking where I've been so I figured I’d make a post to update everyone.

I've decided to take a break from Instagram/blogging. While I love connecting with you all and sharing my life in this space, I don't have the mental capacity to do so at this time. If I can be completely honest, my personal life is currently in shambles and I can't show up here as my best self for you all right now.

Not sure how long I'll be gone or if I'll ever be back, but I owe it to you all to at least let you all know that I'm alive and well.

God willing, maybe one day I’ll be brave enough to share my story to help someone else. Please keep my kids and me in your prayers and it's been an honor to connect with you all over the past three years.

For those that I have been able to meet in person, I cherish every one of those friendships.

I love you all and please respect my wishes by not DMing me asking what's going on unless I know you on a personal level.
