12 of the Best Christmas Books for Toddlers

I absolutely love Christmastime and all the magic that it brings. I’ve always dreamed of spending the holidays with my own little family and creating so many happy memories. One of the things I’m most excited about this season is festive holiday reading. My favorite corner in our home to decorate is Jade’s bookshelf. We love to switch out the selection of books seasonally, and Christmas is no different. This may actually be my favorite holiday bookshelf yet. There’s nothing better than cozying up with the kids with a cup of hot cocoa and a magical Christmas book.

If you are looking for the best Christmas books for toddlers, babies, or kids in general, you can browse some of our favorites below.
If you could only choose one book from this list, I would highly recommend Together by Heather Stricker. It’s the sweetest book ever. To sum it up, it’s about a boy who visits Santa and instead of asking for gifts for Christmas, he just wants to spend time with his family enjoying all their favorite holiday traditions — no matter what they are doing as long as they are together. Someone has to be cutting onions every time we read that one. You all know how much intentional memory-making means to me.
Note: Don’t feel like you have to run out and buy all these books. Check your library first to see if any of these titles are available. Jade and I loved visiting the library every Saturday, and we’re looking forward to the day that we’re able to do so again.
